At Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore, Dr Lee Kok Keong Raymond is a cardiologist.
In the management and treatment of congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease and mitral regurgitation, he offers advanced care.
Dr Lee Kok Keong Raymond continued his basic training at the Flinders Medical Centre following his graduation from Flinders University in South Australia (MBBS, 1991). He then completed Internal Medicine Specialty Training (MRCP Edinburgh, 1997). He received specialist accreditation in 2003, following his Specialized Specialist Training in Cardiology.
Then he completed a one-year fellowship at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia, via the Health Manpower Development Programme Grant. There, his training concentrated on Advanced Echocardiography. In 2006, under the TTSH Scholarship Grant, he completed a fellowship in Cardiac CT at the University of Erlangen in Germany. He was appointed a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and the Academy of Medicine in Singapore the same year.
Dr Lee Kok Keong Raymond was a consultant in the Department of Cardiology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital prior to his move to private practice. He served as the Director of Clinical Research as well as the Director of Postgraduate Education during his tenure.
Dr Lee Kok Keong Raymond is currently a Clinical Mentor at Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore, due to his deep contribution to medical education. He is also an Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified mentor.
Dr Lee Kok Keong Raymond still has a keen interest in studies. He has been involved in many local trials and several randomised controlled international multi-centre studies. Dr Lee has many international journals to his credit, such as the International Journal of Cardiology, Core, Echocardiography, and the Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine, and is a widely published cardiologist, especially in echocardiography, valvular heart disease and heart failure. He also acts as a Heart Reviewer, a Singapore Medical Journal and a Cardiac Failure Journal.
Dr Lee has also acquired a lot of experience in cardiac imaging through his years of practice. He uses technology to assist in the early detection of coronary artery disease and valvular heart disease control.
