Education & Experience:
At Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore, Dr Lim Chong Hee is a cardiothoracic surgeon.
In 1990, he graduated from the National University of Singapore, and in 1994, he became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. From 1999-2001, he continued his training in cardiothoracic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA, where he studied with cardiothoracic specialists.
Dr Lim Chong Hee is a visiting consultant to the Singapore National Heart Centre and a member of the Cardiothoracic Surgeons Chapter at the College of Surgeons, Singapore. He has held numerous positions there, such as Honorary Secretary from 2005-2009 and President from 2009-2013. He is also a member of the Thoracic Society of Singapore.
Dr Lim Chong Hee is a fellow of Singapore’s Academy of Medicine.
Dr Lim Chong Hee was a senior lecturer and an adjunct associate professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School, apart from clinical practice. By giving lectures & organizing workshops at state, regional and international meetings, he continues to contribute to medical education.
