- Dr Lim Chong Hee is a cardiothoracic surgeon with 25 years of clinical experience. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1990 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree. Dr Lim earned his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 1994 and continued his cardiothoracic surgery training from 1999 to 2001 at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to entering private practice, Dr Lim worked at Singapore’s National Heart Centre as a Visiting Consultant.
- Dr Lim Chong Hee has worked as a Senior Lecturer at the NUS Medical Faculty and as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School in Singapore, where he taught and counseled future doctors. Dr Lim continues to contribute to medical education through lectures, workshops, and mentorship programs at local, regional, and international conventions.
- Dr Lim accepts referrals for all types of cancer, with a particular clinical interest in minimally invasive lung surgery, heart valve repair and replacement, coronary artery bypass surgery, aortic aneurysm surgery, mediastinal tumor surgery, esophagectomy for esophageal cancers, and pulmonary embolectomy and endarterectomy surgery, as well as pioneering in heart/lung failure with Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxyge.
