Dr Lim Ing Haan is a cardiologist who works at Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
Dr Lim Ing Haan specializes in interventional cardiology, which includes the treatment of coronary artery disease or diseased heart vessels.
Complex coronary angioplasty and stenting, the use of heart imaging, lower limb and kidney artery peripheral operation, sports cardiology, preventive cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation are part of her clinical knowledge.
In 2005, at the Duke University Medical Centre in North Carolina, USA, Dr Lim was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) award from the Ministry of Health to undertake subspecialty training in interventional cardiology. In particular, she specialized in different forms of minimally invasive endovascular surgery.
Dr Lim Ing Haan was previously the director of the TTSH Cardiac Interventional Laboratories. In 2008, she helped develop the Interventional Service for 24-hour acute heart attacks. Dr Lim is currently the chairman of Mount Elizabeth Hospital’s credentials committee and serves on the medical advisory board of the hospital.
Dr Lim Ing Haan has regularly published her research in globally recognised journals, in addition to clinical practice. She was the commissioning editor for the renowned journal of cardiology science, Heart Asia. She has also been invited by AsiaPCR/SingLIVE and the Asian Interventional Cardiovascular Therapeutics Congress to participate in several regional and international interventional cardiology meetings.
Dr. Lim is also an adjunct to the Duke-NUS Medical School faculty.
