Experience
- Dr Lim Seng Cheong Robert holds degrees from the Universities of St Andrews and Edinburgh. He completed his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at The New York Hospital – Cornell University Medical College and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr Lim is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh, in addition to his American Board certifications in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology. He has over two decades of experience treating cancer patients. He has established a specialty in gastrointestinal, liver, biliary, and pancreatic cancers, as well as co-authoring many pivotal major studies in colon and pancreatic cancer that have informed clinical practice. Dr Lim previously served as Head of the Department of Haematology-Oncology and Associate Director of the National University Cancer Institute in Singapore. Throughout his tenure, he propelled the department to the forefront of science, focusing on the development of innovative drug therapies and increasing our awareness of the particular problem faced by Asians with cancer.
