- Dr Loh Kok Kit is an accomplished Ear, Nose, and Throat surgeon with approximately 35 years of experience. He provides a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services tailored to the unique needs of adults and young children alike. This is the result of his advanced ENT surgical training in the United Kingdom and Australia, prior experience at National University, Singapore General, and Tan Tock Seng Hospitals, and, when necessary, expertise in the application of contemporary technological advancements such as robot or computer-assisted surgery, electronic ear implants, laser, balloon catheter, and minimally invasive techniques. Dr Loh Kok Kit received his postgraduate degree FRCSEd in Otolaryngology after graduating in medicine from the National University of Singapore (1982). He received ENT training in world-class hospitals in London (Guys Hospital, Kings College Hospital, and the Royal National Hospital for Nervous Diseases) and Edinburgh Royal Infirmary through an HMDP Scholarship. In 1987 – 1988, he was given another Scholarship for advanced ENT study, during which he was a Fellow mentored by renowned surgeons at Sydney’s Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, and Royal Alexander Hospital for Children. In recognition of his experience and contributions, he was elected a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 1994 and invited to serve as an international associate editor for two prestigious ENT journals based in the United States of America – Otology and Neurotology, as well as the International Tinnitus Journal. He is also an American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Fellow. Prior to establishing his private practice, he worked at the National University Hospital as an Associate Professor and Senior Consultant. His accomplishments over the years have included numerous managerial and teaching positions, journals, and conference presentations. His operation has been referenced in the literature.
