Biodata
- Dr Loh Su Min Yvonne graduated from NUS in 1997, having earned Dean’s List distinction on both her initial and final professional examinations. She then completed a residency in Internal Medicine at SGH and was admitted to the Royal College of Physicians in 2001. She completed her advanced specialized training in haematology at SGH and was accredited by the Specialist Accreditation Board in 2005. She was later elected to the Academy of Medicine. Dr Loh has a clinical interest in haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and acute leukemia. She was recently awarded an HMDP fellowship to do research on HSCT in autoimmune illnesses at Northwestern University in the United States of America.
- Dr Loh Su Min Yvonne previously worked at Gleneagles Hospital as the Medical Director of the Asian American Blood & Marrow Transplant Center. She was previously a Senior Consultant in the Department of Haematology at SGH, where she served as Medical Director of the hospital’s Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Program and as Director of the Acute Leukemia program. She continues to consult with SGH as a visiting consultant. She previously worked as a clinical lecturer at NUS’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and continues to teach post-graduate students.
- From 2011 to 2013, Dr Loh served as the principal investigator on the NMRC Center grant and was the beneficiary of many Singhealth awards. Her research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as Blood, JAMA, and Lancet Neurology. She is frequently invited to speak on HSCT both locally and abroad. She also volunteers as a Board Member and Medical Advisor for the Bone Marrow Donor Program.
