Dr Mayur Mhatre belongs to both the Neurological Society of India (NSI) and the Bombay Neurosurgical Association.
In 2003, he received his MBBS from MGM Medical College Navi Mumbai, and in 2008, he completed his MS In General Surgery at L T Medical College, Mumbai. In 2011, he received his MCh in neurosurgery from Bombay Hospital in Mumbai. - In the third term, he achieved First Rank at MGM Medical College, Second Rank in University Microbiology, and Second Rank in University MUHS Neurosurgery.
