- Dr MONISH V is a five-year veteran of Gleneagles Global Health City as a Senior Registrar in Interventional Radiology. He was supervised as he performed TIPS and TARE treatments. He has participated in inter-hospital IR meetings and case discussions held at various hospitals in Bangalore, Karnataka. As a Senior Registrar in the department of Interventional Radiology, he is responsible for performing a variety of tasks.
- I Interventional vascular operations such as coiling pseudoaneurysms, embolization of the bronchial artery, embolization of traumatic arterial bleeds, and transjugular liver biopsies.
- ii) Non-vascular CT and USG-guided operations include microwave ablation of liver tumors and colorectal metastases, radiofrequency ablation of osteoid osteomas, as well as biopsies, drainages, and nerve blocks.
- iii) Fluoroscopic procedures such as transhepatic biliary drainage (PTBD) and percutaneous nephrostomies (PCN).
- Apart from interventional operations, he was also responsible for routine diagnostic reporting across all modalities. He has delivered a variety of electronic posters and presentations. He has been a part of the women’s health program as a part of community welfare.
