Dr. Muna Bhende earned her master’s degree in ophthalmology from Bangalore University in 1992. She is currently employed as a senior consultant in the VR services department.
Her current duties include the diagnosis and treatment of medical and surgical retinal and vitreous conditions, as well as the instruction of ophthalmology postgraduates and vitreoretinal fellows. She is also in charge of the library at the Vision Research Foundation. She is an investigator in four multicenter trials.
