Dr Muntasir Bin Shahid was born in 1982 and received his MBBS from Dhaka University in 2005. In 2016, he earned a Master of Surgery degree from Banga Bandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.

He completed his fellowship in glaucoma at India’s Disha Eye Hospital. He also completed a fellowship in Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery at Nagpur’s Mahatme Eye Bank Hospital.

He is now employed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the International Medical College & Hospital.

He is passionate in study and publication. He has several articles both domestically and internationally. Additionally, he served as a reviewer for the Scientific Committee of the 2016 World Ophthalmological Congress.

He attends several conferences, symposiums, and seminars across the world. He is always striving to keep his expertise current and to provide his patients with the best service possible.
