- Dr Neeta Naik, MD, DCH, and DNB is the company’s founder and chief of clinical services.
- After earning her MD from the LTMMC and LTMGH, University of Mumbai in 1989, she joined Wadia Children’s Hospital, Mumbai as a Research Officer in Pediatrics Epilepsy (1993-1995) and subsequently as a lecturer in General Pediatrics, Epilepsy & Endocrinology for five years (1995-1999).
- Dr Neeta Naik founded her first pediatric specialty clinic in 2000, along with two other specialist pediatricians, Drs. Uma Ali and Prisca Colaco, and a pediatric physiotherapist, Dr. Urmila Kamath. She continued her work in pediatric epilepsy by establishing many satellite centers for the convenience of families with epileptic children, including those in Vashi, Kaylan, Mulund, Ghatkopar, Malad, Sawantwadi, and Goa.
- She has a great interest in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, since she was associated with the first Learning Disability Centre in LTMMC & LTMGH as a research fellow from 2005-2011 and the first ABA-based School for children with autism- Sai school in Mumbai from 2013-2014.
- Dr Neeta Naik has been in private practice since the year 2000, and in addition to various pediatric epilepsy-EEG facilities, she also runs a “child development center” in Sion that specializes in cerebral palsy, autism, and learning disability.
- In 2006, she was responsible for the development of IAP recommendations for physicians titled ‘Diagnosis & Management of Childhood Epilepsy,’ which were published in Indian Pediatrics in 2009. In 2010, she established the Child Neurology Group, Mumbai for academic discussion. In 2012, she was appointed convener of the group preparing the “Epilepsy and Movement Disorder Module” for practicing pediatricians. In 2013, she was the first to host a “Autism Update” conference, a one-day event devoted to advancing the understanding of autism. In 2014, she organized a course entitled “Neuroradiology for Practicing Pediatricians.”
- Dr Neeta Naik has been a faculty member at numerous pediatric and neurology conferences in India and has authored numerous works.
