Dr Noriko is a professor at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine’s Department of Radiology. Dr. Salamon, a neuroradiologist of international fame, is a pioneer in epilepsy neuroimaging. She has spent the past decade specializing in finding brain abnormalities that cause seizures in people with normal MRI readings. She devised the technique of superimposing PET scans, which assess the activity of brain cells, onto an MRI in order to determine the site of an unseen or minor brain disorder producing seizures.
Dr Noriko is linked with a number of regional institutions, including Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital and UCLA Medical Center.
