Education & Experience:
The CENTAS medical director is Dr Pang Yoke Teen. Dr Pang Yoke Teen holds a medical degree from Singapore’s National University After being awarded the fellowships of the RCE and GGC, he was honoured by the RCE and GGC.
Dr Pang Yoke Teen furthered his degree in ENT after receiving an Inter-Collegiate Fellowship at the Royal Colleges of London, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Ireland. Dr Pang’s field of expertise is ENT and he has a particular interest in allergies, sinus infections, sleep apnoea and snoring. He was hired as an immunologist at the University of Chicago to further his career in the environmental immunology field.
Dr Pang Yoke Teen as the Senior Consultant and Clinical Director of the Department of Otolaryngology, speared headed the ENT Allergy and Rhinology clinic, and also the director of the Image Driven Surgery System Program in the National University Hospital .
As an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore, he developed various methods of teaching for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Dr. Pang is a prolific author of 30 papers and chapters. He continues to be interested in studies on allergies and ways to combat them.
