Dr Parveen Sen earned her M.B.B.S. from Gurunanak Dev University Amritsar in 1993. She earned her MS in ophthalmology from the same university in 1998.
From 1999 to 2000, she received Vitreoretinal Fellowship training for vitreoretinal surgeries at Sankara Nethralaya, and in 2000, she joined the Medical Research Foundation, a unit of Sankara Nethralaya. She is currently a senior consultant at Sankara Nethralaya’s Bhagvan Mahavir Vitreo-retinal department and has performed many complex Vitreoretinal surgeries.
She has attended and lectured at several national and foreign conferences. Her particular interests include prematurity retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and electrodiagnostic. She oversees the macula clinic as well as the electrodiagnostic section.
