Professor of Radiation Oncology at UCLA, is Dr Kupelian. He finished his residency at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. After completing his fellowship, he served for eight years as the section chief of genitourinary malignancies at the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic. He was also the Clinical Research Director for the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Kupelian comes to UCLA from the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Orlando, Florida, where he served as Chairman and Scientific Director of Research for Radiation Oncology and as a Professor at the University of Central Florida.
Although he specializes in genitourinary cancers, he is a renowned specialist in the creation and assessment of cutting-edge technology in Radiation Oncology for a range of anatomic locations. He pioneered the use of high-dose hypofractionated radiation treatment for prostate malignancies. In addition, he has contributed significantly to the development and deployment of numerous image guiding approaches in radiotherapy. He has produced around 200 research articles, many review papers, and chapters of books.
Dr Patrick has ties to many institutions in the region, including UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. He has been a practicing attorney for almost twenty years. His practice is accepting new patients.
