- Pediatric endocrinologist Dr Prashant has over 33 years of experience in the profession.
He is a Respected Member of the Indian Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology (ISPAE), the Asia Pacific Pediatric Endocrine Society (APPES), the European Society of Pediatric Endocrinology (ESPE), the International Society of Pediatric & Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD), and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP).
He completed his ESPE clinical fellowship in pediatric endocrinology and diabetes at the esteemed Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, United Kingdom, during the course of his illustrious career. - Type 1 diabetes mellitus, obesity, metabolic syndrome, and childhood growth abnormalities are some of Dr. Patil’s areas of expertise.
He has successfully organized and taken part in a number of conferences on pediatric endocrinology as a speaker.
In addition to numerous other pertinent issues, he has published numerous research papers on the Bone Health Index (BHI) and its relative measurement in children with GHD and CDGP to evaluate the use of Growth Hormone and Testosterone, respectively.
