Dr Pratibha Singhi is a world-renowned pediatric neurologist with more than 38 years of experience in the field. She received her bachelor’s degree in medicine from Rajasthan University and her master’s degree in pediatrics from AIIMS in New Delhi. She carries a wealth of knowledge from India, the West Indies, the United States, and the United Kingdom. She served as Professor and Head of Department at PGIMER, Chandigarh, and Chief of Paediatric Neurology and Neurodevelopment before joining Medanta. Epilepsy, Neurodevelopmental Disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Central Nervous System (CNS) Infections are among her main research interests.
She received specialized training in these fields at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and at The Royal College of Paediatrics in the United Kingdom during the Heinz Fellowship of the British Paediatric Association and Fellowship of The Royal College of Paediatrics. She was asked to work at the Great Ormond Street Hospital in London as a locum consultant in paediatric neurology (November 2004 to May 2005 and May to November 2008). She has written a book on “Seizures and Epilepsy in Children” and edited an international book on “CNS Infections in Children,” the Neurology Section of the IAP Textbook of Paediatrics 2013, and Paediatric Neurology and Epilepsy November 2009.
Dr Pratibha Singhi has published over 400 articles in Indian and international peer-reviewed journals and has won numerous national and international awards and orations for her work in the fields of neurodevelopment and paediatric neurology.
