DR PREMIK NAGAD received his medical education and Orthopaedic Diploma at Shri BM Patil Medical in Bijapur, Karnataka. He received his Diplomate of National Board in Orthopaedics at Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences in Thiruvalla, Kerala, after completing his orthopaedics diploma. He began working with Dr. Abhay Nene as an observer in 2008, progressing to clinical fellow and subsequently associate spine surgeon, with responsibilities that included organizing procedures and fellowships. Dr. Bhojraj hired him as an associate and coordinator of Spine Foundation Fellowships in 2012.
He’s also completed fellowships at the Brazos Spine Institute in Texas and the Rush Institute in Chicago. He is currently a trustee at the Spine Foundation, and in addition to his professional responsibilities in Mumbai, he also supervises the fellowship program and Regional Spine Care Centres throughout Maharashtra and India, with the goal of providing spine care to the underprivileged people.
