Biodata
- Dr Prof Darius F Mirza is one of the top Liver Transplant Surgeons with thirty years of expertise.
From 2001 to 2005, he served as Secretary of the European Liver and Intestinal Transplant Association (ELITA), and from 2015 to 2017, he served as a Committee Member of the British Transplantation Society (BTS).
Dr Prof Darius F Mirza is a member of the European Society of Organ Transplantation (ESOT), the International HPB Association (IHPBA), the West Midlands Surgical Society, the Intestinal Transplantation Association (ITA), the International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS), the British Medical Association (BMA), the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation (ISOT), and the Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISGE). - Dr Prof Darius F Mirza has performed more than 5,000 liver transplants worldwide and specializes in Adult & Pediatric Liver and Intestine Transplantation, Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery – liver, pancreatic, and biliary cancer, Laparoscopic HPB Surgery, Bile duct strictures, and Portal hypertension surgery.
- In 1984, he received his MBBS from Seth G S Medical College in Mumbai, his MS – General Surgery from KEM hospital in Mumbai, and his FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 1993.
