Dr Rajneesh Kachhara has more than 22 years of experience in the area of neurosurgery. In 1994, he received his training at the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) in Trivandrum, Kerala, where he worked as an associate professor and senior faculty member. He has extensive knowledge of all types of brain surgery.
His areas of expertise include skull base and vascular surgery, pituitary tumors, meningiomas, CP angle tumors, intraventricular tumors, microvascular decompression for trigeminal neuralgia, and surgery for intracranial aneurysms. He is also interested in treating severe head trauma and spinal tumors. At Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, The George Washington University in Washington, DC, and Keio University School of Medicine in Tokyo, Japan, he completed fellowships in skull base surgery. He served as a senior neurosurgeon and head of the department of neurosurgery at Bombay Hospital in Indore from November 2003 to August 2013.
He is credited with turning it into a world-class hub for neurovascular surgery and brain tumors. He has a long list of publications and book chapters to his name. He’s given talks about neurosurgery at national and international conferences. Prime Time Research Media Ltd. recently named him “Best Brain Surgeon in Madhya Pradesh” at the Global Health Care Excellence Awards.
