He is a prominent member of the Glasgow Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, the American College of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the Cardiological Society of India, and the Asia Pacific Society for Interventional Cardiology.
Dr Rakesh Gopal has excelled in Valvular Heart Disease Interventions, Mitral, Aortic, and Pulmonary Balloon Valvotomies, and Initiation of Trans Aortic Valve Replacement. - Dr Rakesh Gopal is the editor of the book Cardiovascular Interventional Trials Update, which was published by the Mathew Foundation in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Interventional Cardiology India Educational Trust.
