- Dr Raymond Lee Kok Keong is a cardiologist with around 15 years of expertise. He provides specialized care in the management and treatment of valvular heart disease, congestive heart failure, and coronary artery disease in his clinics at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital and Mount Alvernia Hospital.
- Dr Lee completed his basic training at the Flinders Medical Centre following his graduation from Flinders University in South Australia (MBBS, 1991). He then pursued a speciality in Internal Medicine (MRCP Edinburgh, 1997). He earned specialist accreditation in cardiology in 2003 after completing his Advanced Specialist Training in Cardiology.
- Dr Raymond Lee Kok Keong then completed a one-year fellowship at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia, funded by the Health Manpower Development Programme Award. There, he received training in Advanced Echocardiography. In 2006, he was awarded a TTSH Scholarship to pursue a fellowship in Cardiac CT at the University of Erlangen in Germany. He was inducted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, in the same year.
- Dr Raymond Lee Kok Keong previously worked as a consultant in the Department of Cardiology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He served as Director of Clinical Research and Director of Postgraduate Education during his term.
- Dr Lee also has a strong interest in research. He has participated in a number of local investigations as well as international multi-center randomised controlled trials. Dr Lee is a well-published cardiologist with extensive experience in echocardiography, valvular heart disease, cardiac CT, and heart failure. He has publications in numerous international journals including the International Journal of Cardiology, Heart, European Journal of Echocardiography, Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine, and American Journal of Cardiology. He has also acted as a manuscript reviewer for the Journal of Cardiac Failure, Heart, Singapore Medical Journal, and Singapore Medical Journal.
- Dr Lee has also developed considerable skill in cardiac imaging throughout the course of his years of practice. He makes use of technology to aid in the early detection and management of coronary artery disease and valvular heart disease.
