- During the 1996 Royal College of Psychiatrists meeting in Hyderabad, he delivered his thesis titled “Emotional Attitudes Of Spouses Of Schizophrenic Patients.” In 1996, he earned his M.D. (Psychiatry) and was awarded Dr. A.P. Patkar’s Prize. He also passed the D.N.B and D.P.M(Psychiatry) examinations.
- During the 1996 Royal College of Psychiatrists meeting in Hyderabad, he delivered his thesis titled “Emotional Attitudes Of Spouses Of Schizophrenic Patients.” In 1998, he delivered his dissertation entitled “Emotional Attitudes of Spouses of Schizophrenic Patients” at the Birmingham Medical Institute and was awarded the coveted “Cloak Medal.” In 2004, he passed the MRCPsych examination and is currently a paying member of the college. In 2005, he was selected for Intellectual Disability higher training in the West-midlands higher specialist training scheme. In 2008, he presented his research paper titled “Trends in admission to an intellectual disability hospital” at the Royal College of Psychiatry’s faculty of learning disability meeting.
