- Surgery. Graduate of the famous BJ Medical College in Pune and the National Board of Examinations in New Delhi for postgraduate study in general surgery. Subsequently, he had the opportunity to work as a Senior Resident in the Department of General and Minimally Invasive Surgery at several prestigious institutions in New Delhi. He later completed Fellowship in GI surgery and GI cancer at the Medanta Institute of Digestive Surgery under the supervision of Dr. Adarsh Chaudhary (GI surgeon of World Reputation). Medanta also granted him a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Bariatric Surgery. Worked with Dr. Muffazal Lakadwala (Internationally Renowned Bariatric Surgeon) in the field of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery. Obtained Colorectal Surgery Fellowships from ACRSI. And three more Fellowships from India’s prominent Surgical Organizations ( ASI, AMASI, IAGES). Association of Colorectal Surgeons of India provided basic and advanced training in coloproctology. As part of the PACE programme, received hands-on training in laparoscopic colorectal surgery in Chennai. Profs. Joel Leroy and A. Melani (World Pioneers in Colorectal Surgery) trained him in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery and Transanal Microsurgery. AIIMS, New Delhi, provided a comprehensive training course (approved by SAGES, America) on laparoscopic colorectal surgery.
