Biodata
- Dr Sarah Lu Qinghui is a General Surgery Specialist. She earned her undergraduate degree from University College London and then returned to Singapore to pursue postgraduate surgical training. She was awarded a joint specialized fellowship by the boards of Singapore and the United Kingdom (Edinburgh). Additionally, she earned a postgraduate Master of Medicine (Surgery) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Science in Health Professions Education from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions.
- Dr Lu underwent fellowship training in breast conservation and oncoplastic surgery at the National Cancer Center (Seoul) and L’Institut du Sein (Paris) to complement her clinical focus in breast cancer treatment and surgery.
- Dr Lu’s active involvement in surgical education has led her to serve as the Program Director of the National Healthcare Group’s General Surgery Residency Program and as an Associate Designated Institution Officer. She is an active participant in Singapore’s and the region’s medical education sector as a faculty member in the areas of selection, simulation, and communication.
