He is a member of the Indian Association of Surgeons, the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons, the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, the International Liver Transplant Society, the Indian Liver Transplant Society, and the National Academy of Medical Sciences.
