Dr Seng Chusheng is a specialist in orthopaedic surgery at Parkway East Hospital.
He specializes in foot and ankle surgery, and has considerable experience in doing operations such as fracture fixation, reconstruction of keyholes, and cartilage repair.
Dr Seng Chusheng has comprehensive training and experience in treating orthopaedic trauma and is well versed in treating sports-related injuries of the knee and hip and knee arthritis. He has a number of therapies for ankle arthritis, including a fusion procedure, and a joint replacement operation.
He was awarded his degree hailing from the prestigious National University of Singapore, followed by his master’s in medicine (orthopaedic surgery). He was subsequently honoured by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and named as an honorary fellow (Orthopaedic Surgery).
Dr Seng Chusheng is working with the foot and ankle service department of orthopaedic surgery in Singapore General Hospital , and is currently a visiting consultant (SGH). Before entering private practice, he worked as a consulting orthopaedic surgeon at SGH, during which time he was remembered for his devotion to his patients.
Dr Seng Chusheng has presented at many local, regional and international meetings of orthopedics and orthopedics surgery, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Annual Scientific Meeting. He has written papers in a number of medical journals, including the Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Science. He was also a 2011 semifinalist for the Young Investigator Awards and 2012 recipient of the Japan Orthopaedic Association Travelling Prize.
