Dr Shantesh Kaushik is a Fellow in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Chief Resident in Cardiothoracic Surgery from Boston Medical Centre and Lahey Clinic, Boston, Massachusetts, United States, and FCCP – Elected Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
He has done over 7000 Cardio-Vascular procedures and assisted in the establishment of Cardiology units in six hospitals. - Dr Shantesh Kaushik was awarded the Dr. Bhave Prize (Pune University) for placing second in surgery at the MBBS examination, the Godbole Prize, the Dr. B. N. Ranade Prize, and the G.M. Phadke Prize (Pune University) for placing first in the 1992 MS (Gen. Surgery) examination.
