Biodata
- In December 2011, Dr Sujata Apurva Gawai received her postgraduate degree in ENT from Mahatma Gandhi Mission Medical College & Hospital in Kamothe, Navi Mumbai. To her credit, Dr Sujata Apurva Gawai passed her specialty’s National board of examination (DNB) on her first attempt. She did her fellowship in Endoscopic Sinus and Skull Base Surgeries at the Bombay hospital under the capable supervision of Dr. Nishit J. Shah. During this time, Dr Sujata Apurva Gawai not only performed/assisted in several endoscopic sinus surgeries, endoscopic pituitary surgeries, CSF leak repair procedures, etc., but she also honed her skills in other areas of patient care, including preoperative and postoperative treatment. In an effort to assist deaf children and people, Dr. Sujata has focused on learning about Cochlear Implants, a procedure that enables deaf children and adults to hear and, consequently, talk.
- under ‘Padmashree’ Dr Milind V. Kirtane at P. D. Hinduja hospital. Dr. Sujata has aided in countless Cochlear Implant and other ear and sinus operations. She got the opportunity to work in Bombay hospital, Breach Candy Hospital, P. D. Hinduja hospital, Cumballa hill hospital, and Saifee hospital during her fellowship program. Dr Sujata Apurva Gawai has served for two years as an Assistant Professor at the MGM medical college and hospital in Kamothe. Dr. Sujata Gawai is currently the proprietor, ENT consultant, and surgeon at the Auricle ENT clinic in kharghar.
