- Dr Tan Kian Hian received his Fellowship from the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and the Faculty of Pain Medicine, ANZCA. He is currently a Senior Consultant and Head for Department of Anaesthesiology in Singapore General Hospital. He is also a Visiting Consultant in Singapore National Eye Centre, National Dental Centre and National Cancer Centre. He is also actively interested in undergraduate education in YLL School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and Duke-NUS Medical School, as well as post-graduate education and exams in Anaesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
- Dr Tan has an active interest in acute, chronic residual and cancer pain control, including interventional procedures. He is also engaged in active research in these areas leading to publications in local and foreign medical journals, and a reviewer of medical journals. He has been invited as a speaker in local and international conferences, such as the World Congress in Anaesthesiology.
