Dr Tan Ngian Chye is a general surgeon who practices at Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital.
He specialization is ablative surgery and reconstructive microsurgery of the head and neck. He is also specialized in surgical oncology and is experienced.
At present, Dr Tan Ngian Chye is a visiting consultant at the National Cancer Centre (NCCS) and the General Hospital of Singapore.
Dr Tan Ngian Chye was a senior consultant and director of education of the Head and Neck Centre of SingHealth Duke-NUS. At the same time, he was the clinical lead for oncology reconstruction of the head and neck and malignancies of the skin. He was also co-chair of the nasopharyngeal carcinoma NCCS Cancer Service Line Formation (CSLD) and a member of the thyroid and head and neck cancer CSLD.
Dr Tan Ngian Chye worked at the Duke-NUS Medical School as a clinical associate professor and as program director of the SingHealth General Surgery Residency Programme.
His research focus is in advancement in medical technology and he has received many competitive national grants to pursue his research.
