Dr Tanveer Abdul Majeed After receiving his medical degree from Karnataka University Dharwad and his master’s degree in general surgery from the University of Mumbai, he pursued a three-year Residency training programme in Surgical Oncology as Senior Registrar (I, II, III), followed by a six-month Specialist Registrar in the Thoracic Oncology and a four-month Fellowship in Breast Oncology at the prestigious Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital Parel, Mumbai, and a one Subsequently, he completed a residency in Hepatobiliary pancreatic surgery and Liver Transplantation at the Asian Centre for Liver Disease & Transplantation under Prof. K. C. Tan (Singapore).Dr Tanveer Abdul Majeed On his return to India, he joined a facility where he received three years of Superspeciality training resulting to the Diplomate National Board [D.N.B. Surgical Oncology] degree. Dr Tanveer Abdul Majeed is co-author of chapters in the textbook and has authored numerous national and international papers.
