Dr Tay Lik Wui Edgar practices at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore, as a cardiologist.

Dr Tay Lik Wui Edgar graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and completed his training in cardiology at Singapore’s National University Hospital.
Dr Tay Lik Wui Edgar won a Ministry of Health Scholarship at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London, UK, to attend sub-specialty training in adult congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension and then completed a second year of interventional fellowship at St Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver, BC, where he was qualified in transcatheter aortic valve implantation. He now heads the program for TAVI and mitraclip mitral valve repair.
Currently, Dr. Tay is senior consultant at the Department of Cardiology, National University Heart Centre (NUHC), Singapore, program director for the Congenital/Structural Heart Disease Program, NUHC, visiting senior cardiologist consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, visiting senior cardiologist consultant at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, and assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at Yo Tock Seng Hospital.
In peer-reviewed journals, he has written or co-authored numerous articles. He is certified by the European Society of Adult Congenital Heart Disease Echocardiography and has written book chapters on congenital heart disease echocardiography and systemic intervention. In order to develop new transcatheter instruments, he also received many research grants.
Dr Tay Lik Wui Edgar is currently actively involved in the management of structural heart disease patients, especially those with valvular heart disease who may benefit from transcatheter therapy. He also treats patients in pregnancy with adult congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, and those with heart disease.
