Dr Tow Phak Boon Benjamin is a spinal surgeon working at Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital. He specializes in the treatment of degenerative spinal injuries, deformity surgery and minimally invasive spinal surgery, as well as spinal percutaneous injections.
Dr Tow Phak Boon Benjamin has considerable experience in the treatment of general orthopaedic disorders of the knee, hip, ankle and upper limb, in addition to spine surgery. He is also well versed in paediatric orthopaedic conditions, having obtained training at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Kandang Kerbau (KK).
In 1998, Dr Tow was a graduate of the National University of Singapore (NUS). Subsequently, he earned a Master of Medicine (Orthopaedics) from the NUS and a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Orthopaedics), UK.
At the UCLA Comprehensive Spine Centre, Los Angeles, USA, Dr Tow completed his fellowship, where he was mentored by Professor Jeffrey Wang and Dr Larry Khoo.
Dr Tow Phak Boon Benjamin trained as an orthopaedic surgeon consultant at the Singapore General Hospital after returning from his overseas attachment in 2007. (SGH). In addition to conducting a high amount of spinal surgery, Dr. Tow was also a member of the trauma unit, performing multiple procedures for patients with upper and lower limb traumatic fractures.
