Work Experience

22 years as a Consultant Surgeon in UK in GI Surgery.Set up Oesophago gastric Cancer services, then set up laparoscopic antireflux and hernia(Incisional nad Inguinal) service. Set up lap Bariatric service in 2001 and have led it to become the largest service by numbers in 2018.I have extensive experience in Lap Gastric Sleeves,Byapsses,Bands and Duodenal Switch surgery and have performed more than 1000 cases.I am also a teacher and trainer for bariatric surgery in UK.

Dr Vigyan Jain has over 30 years of expertise as an Advanced Laparoscopic, Minimal Access, and Bariatric Surgeon.
Dr Vigyan Jain is a member of both the Maharashtra Medical Council and the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
Prior to working in India, he was a consultant surgeon in GI Surgery in the United Kingdom, where he also established Oesophago esophageal Cancer services.
Dr Vigyan Jain has performed over 1000 instances of laparoscopic gastric sleeve, bypass, band, and duodenal switch surgery. He has vast experience with these procedures. He has also taught and trained bariatric surgery in the United Kingdom.
