Dr Wong Chiung Ing graduated from the University of Manchester in the UK with a medical degree. In the North-West area of England, she completed her postgraduate training in internal medicine in various hospitals.
She continued her training at the National University Hospital (NUH), receiving a medical oncology specialist certificate from the Singapore Ministry of Health.
She held the role of consultant medical oncologist at NUH prior to joining the Parkway Cancer Centre.
Dr Wong Chiung Ing has been extensively interested in clinical research, in particular Phase I trials for cancer patients investigating novel therapy. In peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Clinical Oncology, the official journal of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, she presented and published her research (ASCO).
