- Dr Yang Peilin Francine is a Consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital’s National Healthcare Group Eye Institute.
- Dr Yang Peilin Francine completed her undergraduate medical education at the National University of Singapore, where she graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She then earned a Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) in 2011 and was inducted into the Singapore Academy of Medicine in 2014.
- Her clinical interests include general ophthalmology and cataract surgery, with a particular emphasis on paediatric ophthalmology, myopia, and both adult and paediatric strabismus. She recently finished a year-long clinical residency in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children.
- Dr Yang is an active participant in medical education at the undergraduate level. She is the Deputy Lead for Ophthalmology and Adjunct Teaching Faculty at Nanyang Technological University’s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, as well as a Clinical Lecturer at the National University of Singapore’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
