Experience
- Dr Yung Wai Yin Ambrose is an orthopaedic surgeon based in Singapore’s Gleneagles Hospital. He has vast experience with complex primary complete knee replacements, revision knee replacements, and minimally invasive knee and shoulder sports surgery.
He was awarded a one-year fellowship in the world-renowned Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford University Hospital, and the Hip & Knee Division, Southampton University Hospital, following his orthopaedic specialist qualification. He received extensive training in minimally invasive partial knee replacement and complex complete knee replacement, as well as computer navigational partial and total knee replacement, during his fellowship.
Dr Yung received a Singapore Minister for Health Award for his contribution to medical relief efforts following the 2006 Indonesian earthquake. He was given a Certificate of Honour by the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong for his voluntary medical work during the 2003 SARS epidemic. - Dr Yung Wai Yin Ambrose is a senior clinical lecturer in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the National University of Singapore’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Clinical Physician Faculty at the SingHealth Residency.
