Dr Elliot Benjamin developed an interest in ENT whilst studying medicine at Bristol University and spent his elective at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital. On the Thames ENT training curriculum, he received outstanding general ENT training and developed a sub-specialty focus in paediatrics and otology.
He went on to study at the House Ear Institute in Los Angeles, California, and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, England, under international experts. Mr Benjamin earned the MRCS and the FRCS (ORL-HNS), as well as the DLO and other postgraduate prizes, in addition to a first-class honours BSc degree and being given ‘Honours’ for his undergraduate medical qualification.
He has a long list of original peer-reviewed scientific papers, as well as abstracts, historical essays, and reviews. He has presented work on various aspects of ENT at national and international conventions.
Dr Elliot Benjamin has undertaken multiple audits and, as a member of the EAR UK Otology database group, is currently in charge of the National Myringoplasty Audit. Mr Benjamin continues to teach students, nurses, GPs, and surgeons at all levels and serves as an E-Tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons.
Over 3000 ENT surgical procedures were conducted by Mr Benjamin, including over 200 significant ear operations, nearly 100 child airway surgeries, and over 1000 general paediatric procedures. He is the main doctor at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where he provides a full paediatric ENT program. He works at Charing Cross Hospital as a Consultant ENT Surgeon, where he provides a full adult ENT treatment with a special emphasis in otology and ear surgery.
Dr Elliot Benjamin works at Imperial College London as an Honorary Senior Lecturer, where he teaches and lectures medical students and fellow surgeons. Mr. Benjamin is committed to giving all of his adult and pediatric patients with a professional, safe, and efficient ENT treatment.
