Dr Brambilla earned his doctorate in internal medicine in 2004 after graduating from the University of Milan in 1998. During his training, he spent a few months in France working in Respiratory Medicine.
He has spent the last five years as a Specialist Consultant in Acute and General Medicine at Milan’s Niguarda Hospital. In 2009, he relocated to the United Kingdom to work at St Thomas’ Hospital, and in 2012, he became a Consultant at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he served as the Clinical Service Lead for Acute Medicine. He has been a member of the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since 2017.
Dr. Brambilla has authored numerous studies on the management of acute recurrent pericarditis in international peer-reviewed journals. He is now pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Education at The King’s College London.
