Dr Alfredo Sadun, MD, PhD is the Vice-Chair of Ophthalmology at UCLA and holds the Flora L. Thornton Endowed Chair at Doheny Eye Centers-UCLA. Dr. Sadun graduated from MIT in 1972, completed his Ph.D. and M.D., followed by an Ophthalmology residency at Harvard Medical School and a Neuro-Ophthalmology fellowship. In 1983, he joined the Harvard Department of Ophthalmology faculty full-time. In 2014, he assisted Doheny in its transfer to UCLA.

Dr Alfredo Sadun is linked with a number of regional institutions, including UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. He obtained his medical degree from Yeshiva University’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine and has been in practice for over 20 years.
