Biodata
- Dr. Ameet is a graduate of A.F.M.C. (Pune) and was granted the ENT medal. He earned Fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, where he received his advanced surgical training in ENT Surgery.
- He has specialized training and experience in Microscopic Ear Surgery, Neuro-Otology, Cochlear Implants, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, and Paediatric ENT from a number of centers in the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States.
- Since 1995, he has been trained at the National Centre for Cochlear Implantation (U.K.) and hence has substantial experience in deafness management and cochlear implantation. He established the cochlear and hearing implant program (for children and adults) at Apollo Hospitals and serves as its chief surgeon. He has over 700 beneficiaries of cochlear implants in this program.
- His team has extensive experience managing complicated cochlear conditions and is the only operational Auditory Brainstem Implantation program in North India.
- This program also offers individuals with hearing loss Bone Anchored Hearing Aids (B.A.H.A), Bonebridge, and Vibrant Soundbridge middle ear implants.
- Dr. Kishore has extensive experience with functional endoscopic sinus surgery (F.E.S.S.) and balloon sinuplasty. Additionally undertakes Advanced Endoscopic procedures like Orbital Decompression, Optic Nerve Decompression, Dacryocystorhinostomy (D.C.R), Endoscopic Closure of C.S.F Leaks, and Endoscopic Pituitary Tumor Surgery.
- He was trained in Paediatric ENT at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow and is competent in the therapy of children with both common and difficult diseases affecting the pediatric Ear, Nose, Throat, and Airway.
- Doctor Kishore is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of Head and Neck, Salivary, and Thyroid Gland disorders and tumors. Micro Laryngeal Surgery and Phono Surgical Techniques for Hoarseness are areas of expertise.
- Before returning to India after spending more than 15 years abroad, he was a consultant and senior lecturer at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary University Hospital.
