- Dr. Anil Kamath was awarded the UICC- ICRETT fellowship, to visit Washington Cancer Center to learn management of peritoneal surface malignancies by radical peritonectomy and intraperitoneal chemotherapy. There, he worked under Dr. Paul Sugarbaker in the peritoneal surface malignancy program and gained a lot of experience.

- Since 2008, Dr Anil Kamath has served as a consultant surgical oncologist. Dr Anil Kamath has an outstanding academic record. He completed his MBBS at Mysore Medical College and his MS at St. John’s Medical College Bangalore. He received his MCh from the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, where he also topped the All India Superspeciality Entrance Exam. Dr. Kamath completed postdoctoral Fellowships in Head and Neck and Gastrointestinal Surgery after earning his MCh. He was given the UICC-ICRETT Fellowship for specialized training in peritoneal surface cancer surgery at the Washington Cancer Center. Numerous articles and book chapters by Dr. Kamath have been published in prestigious magazines. He has taught and spoken at numerous national and international conferences.
- Dr Anil Kamath is qualified to undertake procedures for various types of cancer, including head and neck, breast, thoracic, gastrointestinal, and gynecologic cancers. Dr. Kamath has done a large number of significant cancer operations on both local and international patients, with good clinical outcomes and an exceptionally low complication rate. He has received extensive training in laparoscopic and other minimally invasive oncologic procedures.
