Biodata
Dr Cheng Li Chang embarked on his medical journey at NUS, earning his foundational medical degree in 1984. His passion for women’s health led him to achieve the prestigious MRCOG post-graduate degree from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (London) in 1990.
In 1991, he assumed the role of Lecturer in O & G at King’s College School of Medicine in London, where he honed his expertise in IVF and fertility procedures within the renowned IVF Department.
In 1994, Dr Cheng Li Chang brought his wealth of knowledge and skills to WC Cheng & Associates (WCCA), where he dedicated himself to the well-being of both expectant mothers and women facing various health challenges. Concurrently, he served as a pioneer in infertility services, including IVF, at the Thomson Fertility Centre. His commitment was evident as he initially held the position of Chief Clinician, later assuming the role of Medical Director, until 2010.
As of 2015, Dr. Cheng decided to focus his attention on addressing the needs of couples struggling with subfertility, discontinuing maternity services. Nonetheless, his dedication to women’s health remains unwavering, and he continues to provide expert care for women with non-pregnancy and non-fertility related concerns.
From March 2023 onwards, Dr. Cheng extends his compassionate practice at Thomson Surgical Centre, ensuring the highest level of care for his patients.
Dr. Cheng firmly believes in empowering his patients through knowledge. He prioritizes open communication and thorough discussion, especially when it comes to individuals undergoing fertility treatment. Collaboratively, he tailors treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient, fostering a partnership in their healthcare journey.
