Dr Deepak Govil is the Director of Medanta’s Critical Care Unit and has over 25 years of experience in critical care medicine. He is a FNB, IDCCM, and FICCM examiner as well as a coach. He has written ICU guidelines, contributed to many chapters, and co-authored articles in national and international journals. He has taken part in a number of international trails and studies.
Dr. Govil previously held the positions of Vice President of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine and Vice Chancellor of the Indian College of Critical Care Medicine. He is the chairman of a guideline committee and a member of the ISCCM constitution amendment committee. Over the last two decades, he has organized a number of Critical Care Symposiums.
The American College of Critical Care Medicine and the Indian College of Critical Care Medicine have also awarded Dr. Govil fellowships. In addition to serving on the WINFOCUS board of directors, he is the Director of WINFOCUS ITO Delhi. He is also an ACLS, FCCS, and ATLS coach.
