Credited with establishing the country’s first Hepato Pancreato Biliary (HPB) Oncology unit as well as a PDCC course in HPB oncology. - Dr. Dipanjan is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Medical Oncology at Indraprastha Apollo hospital. He has published twenty articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Prior to joining IAH, he was Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Medical Oncology at Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, an autonomous super speciality institute under the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
- Dr. Panda received his oncology training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, one of the most prestigious medical institutions in this region. After finishing his fellowship (DM) in medical oncology, he obtained a post-doctoral research fellowship at Brigham &Women hospital, Harvard medical school, Massachusetts, United States, from where he later transitioned into a professor position in India.
- In 2011, he joined the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, where he is credited with founding the medical oncology division. In addition, he is recognized with establishing the country’s first Hepato Pancreato Biliary (HPB) Oncology unit and a PDCC course in HPB oncology.
- Dr. Panda is a skilled doctor and devoted academician. In addition to delivering several lectures at various national and international conferences, he has approximately twenty papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals. He is a member of the American society of clinical oncology, the European society of medical oncology, and the hepatology international review board.
