Dr Donald B Kohn received a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Microbiology from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, as well as an M.D. from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. He completed a Pediatric Residency in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals, followed by a Fellowship in Pediatric Immunology at the National Cancer Institute’s Metabolism Branch in Bethesda, Maryland. During his fellowship, he initiated research on gene therapy for blood cell illnesses, which he continues to this day.

Dr Donald B Kohn has ties to many local institutions, including UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health with a medical degree and has been in practice for over 20 years.
