Dr Erika serves as the medical director of the UCLA Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program, the associate director of the psychiatry residency research track, and a member of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division faculty at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. Dr. Nurmi concentrates his study on the genetic underpinnings of OCD and tic disorders in children. She is examining pharmacogenomic aspects in the treatment of autism, ADHD, anxiety, and depression with Dr. James McCracken. In addition, she works with Dr. Edythe London to investigate genetic determinants of drug misuse phenotypes.
