Dr Brahn earned his MD with Honors from the University of Chicago in 1978 and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of California Medical Center, San Francisco. Before joining UCLA in 1986, he completed a Rheumatology & Immunology Fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women’s Hospital and remained on the Harvard Medical School faculty.
